Your home for healing.

Casita La Luna is a Chicago-based nonprofit offering free and compassionate support for families, children, and individuals navigating grief, loss, or major life transitions.

OUR MISSION

Grief is part of being human. But you don’t have to carry the weight of it alone.

Grief can fundamentally shake your sense of self, your relationships, and your understanding of the world around you. At Casita La Luna, our mission is to hold families as they grieve and rebuild after a loss — all in a community-rooted space that meets you where you are.

Our promise is a space where individuals and families can rebuild their worlds — in their own time and in their own way.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Built with heart.

When founder Diana Morado lost her daughter, she immediately realized the power of community support as she and her family grieved and rebuilt their lives. In honor of her daughter’s story, Diana opened Casita La Luna.
